When it comes to flexible-working, it’s hard to beat this global broker’s forward-thinking stance.
A long term advocate of empowering colleagues to work how they see fit, it is recognised as the market-leader when it comes to agile-working. For example, for several years, it has been providing all staff with a laptop and mobile phone (regardless of their role profile or seniority) so they can adapt their work around their own circumstances and achieve the much sought-after work / life balance. As such, the company has been able to swiftly respond to the challenges of the pandemic with the minimum disruption to clients or colleagues alike. As the world adjusts to new ways of working, this forward-thinking broker has made a firm commitment that it will only expect colleagues in the office around one or two days per week moving forward.
This broker controls one of the biggest portfolios in the North East and Cumbria, including some of the region’s most prestigious firms; from blue-chip PLC’s through to privately-owned companies run by self-made business people. Clients are from a wide range of industry sectors, such as Retail, Food & Beverage, Engineering and Technology. As you would expect, many of these firms have extensive overseas operations that require input from insurance professionals in a number of territories. The branch also looks after the ‘reverse flow’ business pertaining to the UK programmes of very large organisations that have head offices abroad.
Due to the continued acquisition of quality, corporate accounts, the need has arisen to appoint several new Account Handlers, of varying degrees of seniority. As such, we welcome applications from commercial insurance processionals of all levels; whether they are an SME Broker or Junior Underwriter looking to make the move into the premier league of corporate boking, or an experienced Account Handler who is already dealing with £20K fee business who wants to challenge themselves on dealing with cases spanning the £50K-100K mark.

You will benefit from an attractive basic salary, together with one of the insurance industry’s most impressive ‘flexible benefits’ packages that can be tweaked to suit your own personal circumstances.
