An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner to join this expanding boutique City-based wealth management firm.
My client is looking for a qualified Paraplanner/ Senior Technical Consultant to work within its busy London office. You will support the Financial Advisors in the provision of first-class financial planning solutions for private clients, delivering outstanding service from start to finish.

You will manage a diverse workload comprising various duties and responsibilities. These include but are not limited to preparing for and attending client meetings, gathering and analysing detailed information from clients, preparing lifetime cash flow models relevant to clients’ circumstances, producing financial plans and clear advice, carrying out reviews and dealing with complex queries. A big part of the role will be to produce comprehensive and clear suitability letters for clients.
You will have experience working in a Paraplanning role within the independent space that requires regular direct contact with high net worth clients. It is essential that you are Diploma qualified and ideally you will be working towards Chartered status; if not you, will be keen to become Chartered. It is essential that you have detailed knowledge of investment, life and pension products and you will ideally have experience of Income Tax, CGT, IHT, Trusts and both DC and DB pension transfers. You will be a resourceful and creative problem solver, with the ability to analyse and evaluate information in detail. You’ll also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to build strong proactive working relationships with Advisers, clients and providers.
