Working within a close-knit team, you will support Mortgage Advisers and Senior Case Managers with the administration of technical mortgage business. Key duties will include, but not be limited to, submitting online applications to lenders, checking documents, chasing outstanding information from a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and dealing with simple client enquiries.
Previous experience within mortgages or financial services is NOT ESSENTIAL, however, you must have excellent administration skills, with the ability to produce very accurate documentation within strict timescales. This will inevitably be backed up with strong written and numeracy skills. As you’ll also be dealing with people over the telephone, you will have first-class communication skills and an excellent telephone manner. To tie in with the reputation and values of this outstanding firm, you’ll be engaging and positive, with a “can-do” attitude; always looking for ways to improve, as well as assisting others wherever possible. As expected in this type of role, you will be ‘juggling’ a lot of tasks, and so you must be good at organising and prioritising.
There will be no pressure for you to progress from this position. However, if you want to, you will be in a great place to do so, because this company is well-renowned for promoting from within and nurturing talent.
