Due to congoing expansion, a boutique financial planning firm, based in the heart of London, is seeking an ambitious Trainee Financial Adviser to play an integral part in the ongoing expansion of the business.
This firm is led by an incredibly experienced and driven management team, who throughout their career, have built a loyal following of high net worth individuals. Clients are carefully selected, and each generate on average £1m FUM.
What’s particularly exciting about this opportunity is that once you are trained and competent, there will be a prestigious portfolio ready for you – something which cannot be provided with a lot of Trainee Financial Adviser positions!
The company will be committed to your success and professional development from day one. They will pay for you to study the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, which will include a day a week with working with a specialist training provider. After this, they will also support you to become Chartered.
There are few training opportunities in the market where you will get to work so closely with, and learn from, such experienced people in the industry.
Our client is open to candidates from a wide range of industry sectors. However, it is vital that you are truly passionate about a career in financial planning. Because of the nature of the clientele that you will be dealing with, you must be very credible, with well-honed people skills, and you will NOT be someone who resorts to the ‘hard sell.’ You’ll have experience of dealing with clients in a face to face, consultative manner, and you will display excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
Initially, you’ll be rewarded with a starting salary of circa £30K (Negotiable) plus benefits. However, as you progress, become qualified, and take on more responsibilities, your salary will increase significantly, and will include a bonus based on the retention and development of your portfolio.
There is flexible-working with this position (allowing you to work 2/3 days from home), however, whilst learning, you will be expected to spend a good amount of your time in the Central London office.
It is also expected that you will drive, in order to be able to visit some clients, face to face, throughout the South East.
