This well-established and financially-strong Managing General Agent is growing, year on year, and is renowned for its exclusive covers, efficient service and the technical expertise of its staff.
Boasting a panel of 10 A rated UK insurers puts this company in a very strong position, which is why it is trusted by so many insurance intermediaries. Moreover, being part of a large group, it benefits from one of the best distribution channels in the UK insurance market; evidenced by the fact that the business grew by circa 40% last year.
The company specialises in the Casualty side of Construction, as opposed to single CAR risks. It caters for a wide range of trades, including, but certainly not limited to, Contractors, Shopfitters, Scaffolders and Demolition companies. Operating in the SME arena, average premiums are typically in the region of £7,000 but with cases as large as £250K.
You will play a proactive role in securing renewal business, using your technical UK Construction underwriting expertise to negotiate satisfactory terms with your brokers. In order to achieve this, you will maintain strong working relationships with your intermediary panel, engaging in early renewal discussions and pre-empting any challenges along the way. You’ll also be actively encouraged to entertain your brokers; taking them out and spending time with them in order to strengthen working partnerships.

You will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £50K plus a range of company benefits.
