Award-winning mortgage company based in Southport has an exciting opening for a talented Administrator / Case Manager.

Working within a close-knit team, you will support Mortgage Advisers with the administration of technical mortgage business. Key duties will include, but not be limited to, submitting online applications to lenders, checking documents, chasing outstanding information from a variety of internal and external stakeholders, and dealing with simple client enquiries. If you have previous experience in a Case Manager-style position, you will be given increased responsibilities, which will include more client contact and technical involvement with cases.

Previous experience within mortgages or financial services is NOT ESSENTIAL, however, you must have excellent administration skills, with the ability to produce very accurate documentation within strict timescales. This will inevitably be backed up with strong written and numeracy skills. As you’ll also be dealing with people over the telephone, you will have first-class communication skills and an excellent telephone manner. To tie in with the reputation and values of this outstanding firm, you’ll be engaging and positive, with a “can-do” attitude; always looking for ways to improve, as well as assisting others wherever possible. As expected in this type of role, you will be ‘juggling’ a lot of tasks, and so you must be good at organising and prioritising.

There will be no pressure for you to progress from this position. However, if you want to, you will be in a great place to do so, because this company is well-renowned for promoting from within and nurturing talent. Future opportunities will undoubtedly become available to move into a more technical position, and ultimately beyond. If this is a route you would like to progress with, there will be an opportunity to train to become a Mortgage Adviser (with your qualification funded), which would ultimately provide you the chance to earn over £100K per annum!
