Our client seeks an experienced Credit Insurance professional to join the business in a senior capacity, where they will have a real say in the future direction of the division, whilst helping to manage a small but dedicated team. In addition, you will assume control of a six-figure portfolio of Credit Insurance business. As this company’s Credit Insurance lead, you will have a high profile within the business and help promote the Division across the wider group. This will include promoting a culture of cross and up-selling, working with Commercial Account Executives to review their portfolios, and identifying accounts that would particularly benefit from taking Credit Insurance. Whilst you will be responsible for driving growth within the Credit Insurance Division, it’s worth noting that there is a vast amount of untapped potential within the Group’s commercial portfolio, and that significant levels of new business should be readily achievable through warm introductions to existing clients without having to worry about ‘new, new business’ or approaching your old portfolio.
It is essential that you are an experienced Credit Insurance Account Executive with a detailed knowledge of the market, and the requirements of firms from all industry sectors. You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels, from all walks of life; of particular relevance is the ability to secure buy-in from colleagues in the Commercial Division in order to secure cross-selling introductions. It is by no means essential that you have held a senior or managerial position previously, but you must be able to demonstrate the ability to take charge of the Division and work in close conjunction with Company Directors to set the company’s Credit Insurance strategy.
