Working within the Underwriting team, you will conduct a wide variety of administrative and customer service tasks, in order to ensure that an efficient and effective service is provided to existing insurance broker clients. Duties will include but not be limited to, logging information on systems, taking instructions from brokers via the telephone and relaying these to Underwriters within the team, chasing outstanding information, and dealing with any ad hoc tasks, as required.
It is not essential that you have previous insurance experience as full training will be provided. However, you must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce accurate documentation within strict timescales. Just as importantly, you’ll be well-organised with the ability to multi-task.
