As a result, the company is seeking to make several new appointments to help manage, retain and grow the branch’s portfolio of existing business. This includes hiring Account Executives or Account Directors to assume control of six-figure portfolios, and Account Managers or Brokers to assist in the management of these accounts.
Whichever role you are interested in, it is essential that you have recent relevant experience. Whilst you need not be a Professions specialist, you must have a sound understanding of commercial insurance and have dealt with some financial lines covers such as Professional Indemnity and Director’s & Officers insurance. Experience of using the Acturis broking platform would certainly add weight to you application.
You must be a confident and polished communicator who is able build a sound professional rapport with people from all walks of life, including both blue and white-collar sectors. You must also share this broker’s unwavering focus on delivering a truly fantastic level of client service, and commit to continually developing your technical skills.
You must also be able to commit to building a deep understanding of the Financial Lines sector, and pride yourself on keeping abreast of developments in this fascinating, fast-paced (and often challenging!) market.
As a Chartered Brokerage (whilst not a deal-breaker), this firm is particularly keen to hear from candidates who have made progress towards professional qualifications under the Chartered Insurance Institute.
