A truly rare opportunity for a Financial Adviser has arisen with a highly reputable, boutique IFA firm based in the Leatherhead area.

Not only is there a long-standing client bank to inherit here, but this opportunity offers genuine scope to progress into a Managing Director position, with an equity stake and profit share.

This is a small, but well-established business, which has been providing holistic financial planning services for over 30 years. With funds under management of circa £70 million and 5 members of staff, this is a profitable firm with a loyal client bank. Staff members particularly enjoy the company’s traditional values and the working environment that is free from some of the bureaucracy that can often be found in larger, more ‘corporate’ establishments.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Advisor who can competently manage a varied client bank, whilst successfully overseeing the leadership of the business. This represents a great opportunity for someone who perhaps wants to take this business to new heights, and capitalise on the strong fundamentals that have made this firm a success for several decades. With an office that is well-located to serve the local community, it attracts regular new enquiries, referrals and recommendations, whilst also benefitting from a key introducer relationship with a thriving, connected company. You’ll be working with an experienced and competent team, which includes comprehensive paraplanning and administrative support, and you’ll have the support of a very experienced Co-Director and NED, who will be committed to your ongoing success.

Our client will consider both experienced IFAs, as well as Financial Planners / Wealth Managers from tied environments including banks and building societies. Crucially, you’ll be credible, conscientious and compliant, as well as being an approachable team player. It is not essential that you have previous managerial experience, and therefore this role could appeal to both Financial Advisers who are looking for their first leadership role, as well as experienced leaders who are wanting to work for a quality, traditional IFA firm.

You will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary (negotiable, depending on experience), car allowance, bonus and benefits. Whilst bringing your own client bank is certainly not a requirement for this role, you will be well-rewarded for any of your own personal connections that you do introduce.
