A prestigious commercial insurance broker based in Bolton is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler to strengthen its existing team.

This organisation is renowned for providing a first-class broking service to the commercial and corporate market and has a strong presence, both in the North West and nationally. The company’s revenue has increased circa 25% over the last 12 months (way out-performing many of its competitors), and as such, offers many attractive opportunities for its staff.

Our client typically operates in the £100K - £1M premium region, catering for a wide range of commercial and corporate clientele spanning many industry sectors. With a highly experienced broking team, coupled with enormous buying power, this is a business that holds long-standing relationships with its clients, and continues to expand its book by way of regular referrals and recommendations.

Working closely with Account Executives and Directors, you’ll support them with the servicing of existing accounts. Day to day tasks will include handling renewals, processing endorsements, conducting re-marketing exercises, and dealing with general day to day client enquiries. This is a business that takes real pride in the strong relationships that it forges with its customers and as such, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with your clients, accompanying Account Executives on some face-to-face visits and video calls.
You must have considerable experience as a Commercial / Corporate Account Handler with strong working knowledge of the major commercial covers including Property, Liability, Financial Lines and Commercial Motor, although full training will be provided on specialist products, where required. Just as importantly, you will display enthusiasm, the ability to multi-task, and a genuine passion for providing a very high level of client service.

You’ll benefit from a hybrid-working arrangement, which will allow you to work 2 days from home.

Our client is looking for a technically-competent Account Handler who can ‘hit the ground running’, and is willing to pay an attractive remuneration package in return.
You’ll be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £50K (Negotiable, depending on experience), plus a market-leading benefits package.
