This exciting role has arisen for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the company’s growing Partnerships Team. This specialist team provides insurance (and related products and services) to some of the largest associations in the world, and this a key distribution channel that is very much a growth mode.
This is a new business role covering all Partnership lines, including but not limited to, Tax and Business Advice offerings, Commercial Legal Expenses products and Financial Lines insurance.
The majority of your business will be transacted via the non-broker channel, and you’ll typically be targeting the likes of Trade Associations, Federations and Institutes, as well as small number of intermediaries. You’ll develop the Partnership proposition in line with new business campaigns and build a pipeline of new business prospects, whilst forging solid relationships with key internal teams, including underwriting, claims, marketing, compliance and legal. You’ll also develop awareness of competitor activity, providing feedback into the channel and marketing team. You’ll be the centre point for all new business enquiries that are driven from multiple sources, including internally from across the wider network, marketing campaigns, referrals and your own network.
It's essential that you are an experienced Business Development Manager, with exposure to the Partnerships / Affinities / Schemes distribution model. We will consider talented candidates from insurers, MGAs or brokers, and from either a commercial or personal lines background. Just as importantly, you’ll be self-motivated, consultative, and passionate about cultivating relationships, whilst collaborating with a range of stakeholders.

This position can be remote / hybrid and we are open the location of the successful candidate, although semi-regular meetings will be required in the London office, as well as at prospective clients’ offices.
You’ll be rewarded with a salary of up to £70K (Negotiable, depending on experience), plus car allowance, lucrative quarterly bonus, and a comprehensive company benefits package which includes substantial pension contributions.
