As a Corporate Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of insurance accounts on behalf of commercial and corporate clients that typically generate premiums between £25K-£250K. You will be fully responsible for conducting all renewal exercises, as well as dealing with any mid-term amendments arising within your client portfolio.
As you will be in regular dialogue with both clients and insurers, superb communication skills (both written and verbal) are a prerequisite for this opportunity. You will pride yourself on providing a level of client service that is consistent with this broker’s fine reputation, and endeavor to play your part in ensuring that accounts are retained upon renewal.
It is essential that you have previous experience working in a similar Commercial/ Corporate Account Handler or Broker capacity, and whilst experience of handling 6 figure premium accounts is desirable, our client will consider applications from outstanding candidates who are currently dealing with slightly lower premium cases.
It is imperative that you have a sound understanding of all the relevant FCA regulations and are comfortable working in an environment where adherence to compliance is of paramount importance. Due to the complex nature of accounts handled, it is anticipated that you will have made significant progress towards professional qualifications under the CII.
Our client is close to the M62 to and local arterial, and is a five minute walk from a mainline train station. As such, this is a feasible commute to candidates across West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.
