As well as being members of the sector’s largest trade bodies, it is also officially recognised as the ‘broker of choice’ within these associations. It’s portfolio of Leisure accounts spans right the way across Europe, and includes such prestigious clients as well-known Theme Parks, Zoos, Piers, Museums, Sports Stadia, Holiday Camps and Leisure Centres.
Our client has a robust back office support function, staffed by experienced Account Handlers who are well versed in the nuances of Leisure insurance. This broker has negotiated an exclusive insurance product with an international carrier, meaning that it can offer its clients highly comprehensive cover at an exceptionally competitive premium. These facts, coupled with its high profile within the Leisure sector mean that it is a relatively ‘easy sell’ for its Account Executives to attract and retain clients within its niche.
Due to internal promotion, our client has retained Aston Charles to source a Commercial Account Executive to join its award-winning Leisure Division. As well as assisting with the management and growth of an existing portfolio of clients, you will develop relationships with new clients via affinity partners and trade associations. To assist you in this, you will benefit from the support of colleagues (including some of the most experienced Account Directors in the industry), as well as in-house telesales and marketing teams. Initially, you will primarily focus on visitor attractions, Zoos/ Animal Attractions, Theme Parks, Play & Activity Centres, Amusement Arcades and Bingo Clubs.
It is imperative that you have previous experience within a similar Commercial Account Executive style role, and possess detailed knowledge of all common commercial covers such as Property, Liability, Motor, Combined and Package. Whist previous exposure to the Leisure sector is by no means essential, it would certainly be advantageous. Likewise, progress made towards professional qualifications is not a pre-requisite but would add significant weight to your application.
This role is to cover parts of London, the South East and East Anglia. Our client has a number of offices across this territory, and is happy for candidates to have a high degree of flexibility in their working patterns. As such, this role will surely appeal to candidates from across the region.
It is anticipated that this role will pay a basic salary of up to £40K depending on experience, although candidates with a demonstrable track record within the industry can of course expect to command higher than this. Our client also offers a bespoke bonus scheme, support towards professional qualifications and car allowance, amongst other benefits.
