This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Account Executive to inherit an established portfolio of commercial accounts generating six figure commission income.

This brokerage is headed by a well-known and hugely successful figure in the local business community, with a wealth of contacts spanning a vast array of sectors. Already boasting an impressive turnover, this brokerage continues to win substantial levels of new business due to the Principal’s contacts and other commercial interests.

As a result of this sustained growth, the need has arisen for an experienced Senior Commercial Account Executive or Account Manager to join the team in a senior capacity. You will inherit a six figure commission / fee income portfolio of commercial accounts, comprising clients from a wide range of industry sectors. Clients within this book of business range in size and technical complexity, including a number with premium spends in excess of £100K.

As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to help your contemporaries on the Management Team with the smooth running of the business, from helping implement new procedures and initiatives, through to helping manage insurer relations. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who are confident that they have both the gravitas and the contacts in the market to build a successful team around them. This could be as a result of leading an immediate ‘team lift’, or through appointing contacts and ex-colleagues over the short and medium term.

It is essential that you have extensive commercial insurance experience gained within a similar Account Executive / Account Manager position. You must be technically proficient across all common commercial covers, and au fait with the insurance requirements of clients from a wide range of industry sectors.
