Premier independent insurance brokerage based in West Yorkshire is looking to appoint a talented Commercial Account Handler to strengthen its highly successful commercial division.

You will be responsible for the successful management of a portfolio of accounts pertaining to clients from a wide range of industry sectors, with individual client premium spends ranging from £10K to £150K. Given the diverse risks in this portfolio, clients require a range of commercial covers, spanning from relatively simple Commercial Combined policies, through to much more complex standalone cover for Property, Liability and Financial Lines risks, amongst others.
It is fair to say that this team is regarded as one of the most up and coming broking units in the local insurance community. As such, having a sound understanding of all major classes of commercial insurances, together with strong client relationship management skills are essential. Just as importantly, you must be a team player, who enjoys working to shared goals and objectives in an open, collaborative environment. Our client is particularly interested in speaking to those candidates who have made progress towards professional qualifications under the CII, or can demonstrate a commitment to doing so.
