This is an exciting time to be joining this global broking house; a firm that has achieved impressive year on year growth since its inception, both globally and locally in the West Midlands region.

Not only does it boast some of the most talented corporate broking and risk management staff in the industry, it has an impressive portfolio comprising some of the most well-known major corporates throughout the world.

Due to its genuine commitment to local empowerment, it is able to adapt to changes in the market much quicker than some competing brokers, and its employees don’t feel like the proverbial ‘small cog’. With this in mind, this role will surely appeal to candidates from other globals seeking a more dynamic employer, as well as those from nationals seeking to step up to the premier league, without the endless red tape and bureaucracy found at some similar concerns.

Working within a Corporate Team of 10 Account Handlers/ Managers, you will be responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio of corporate clients, with each account typically generating fee income between £10K-£100K. Clients are from a range of industry sectors, including Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution. This will include conducting mid-term amendments, writing renewal reports and negotiating with insurers.

It is essential that you are well organised, reliable, client-centric and eager to learn. As one would expect, it is essential that you have sound working knowledge of all common commercial covers, coupled with some exposure to handling larger corporate clients. Experience of handling Global clients would be advantageous, but no means essential. In addition, progress made towards professional qualifications would add significant weight to your application.

In return, you can expect a generous basic salary (circa £35K, but completely negotiable for outstanding candidates) a comprehensive benefits package and support towards professional qualifications under the Chartered Insurance Institute.
