This role will be particularly appealing to the ambitious, as you will be working in close conjunction with the Managing Director. As such, this is a high profile role where your successes will be immediately visible to the whole of the Board of Directors.
You will be responsible for utilising prospect databases, lapsed client lists, and your own initiative to generate new business leads and appointments on behalf of the Directors and Sales Team. To aid your colleagues, alongside establishing pertinent information regarding current brokerage, premium size and claims history, you will use your charm to find out more about key decision makers’ personalities and buying styles.
The MD is keen to hear from candidates who can ‘bring something new to the table’. For example, they particularly welcome applications from entrepreneurial candidates with innovative ideas about marketing, PR initiatives and Charity Events. Other ways that you could look to promote the brokerage in the market could include reaching out to Affinity Partners, developing relationships with local media outlets and celebrities, or promoting social media accounts.
