This is an exciting opportunity to join one of West Yorkshire’s most prestigious broking units, staffed by a team that is well known for its technical prowess, passion for client service, and complex portfolios.
You will work in close conjunction with several Account Executives, and this will include some site visits to ensure that you build a sound understanding of each risk and build a good relationship with your clientele. You will help manage a portfolio comprising clients from a variety of industry sectors, with a range of premium spends to suit your experiences and technical abilities. You will be responsible for all aspects of servicing the portfolio, including renewals, mid-term amendments and answering day to day enquiries.
As one would expect, it is imperative that you have experience of working in a similar, commercial broking environment and are au fait with the insurance requirements of clients from a range of sectors. Knowledge of all common commercial covers including Property, Liability, Engineering, Fleet, PI and D&O is essential, however that said, our client welcomes applicants with all levels of experience, from relatively Junior Account Handlers, to seasoned insurance professionals. Whilst it is by no means a pre-requisite, significant progress made towards professional qualifications would add significant weight to your application.
