Due to continued growth, this well regarded insurance brokerage is seeking a Commercial Account Handler for its North Yorkshire operation.
Our client is enjoying an impressive period of organic growth and it is anticipated that its continued successes will lead to its premium income doubling within 5 years.
Working within a small team, you will handle the full broking/ re-broking process for a portfolio of key commercial clients. You will provide day to day administrative support, which will include conducting extensive marketing exercises, negotiating and securing renewals, processing policy endorsements, and handing general client enquiries. You will enjoy handling a variety of commercial risks including Property, Liability and Commercial Motor, across a diverse range of trades and industries. Being an independent broker, you will be granted a high level of autonomy in relation to where you place business, and you may also have the opportunity to attend occasional client visits in order strengthen key relationships.
It is preferred that you have a good understanding of the main classes of commercial insurance, together with a strong level of market awareness. You must be well organised, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce accurate work under pressure. ‘Team fit’ is very important to my client, therefore it is essential that you are a proactive, approachable and friendly person.
