Having enjoyed a significant increase in business volumes in recent years, this global broking house seeks a Commercial Account Handler to join its thriving SME Department
Here, you will be joining a friendly and supportive Team, which is well known for their passion for delivering quality client service. The SME Division looks after clients from a wide range of industry sectors, and individual accounts typically generate premiums up to £10K per annum.
You will assume control of your own designated portfolio of accounts, typically being tasked with 30-40 renewals per month. You will also be responsible for making any mid-term amendments and answering any day to day enquiries. Accounts are either brokered traditionally, or via e-trading platforms.
Ideally, you will come from a commercial broking environment and have knowledge of a range of covers such as Property, Liability and Fleet, just to name a few. However, our client will consider applications form outstanding candidates from a personal lines broking environment also.
You must have an excellent telephone manner and be able to build a professional rapport with clients from all industry sectors, both blue and white collar. You must also have a keen eye for detail and ensure that all tasks are carried out in a time fashion that complies with FCA compliance. Needless to say, you must share this broker’s client-centric ethos.
