Our client has a national presence, servicing the commercial insurance requirements of some of the most well-known, prestigious organisations throughout the UK. Committed to remaining wholly independent, this business has a strong reputation for providing the highest levels of service and the quality of the firm is reflected in its incredibly low staff turnover.
This broker does not transact business under £10K gross written premium, and many of the accounts in your portfolio will generate in excess of several hundred thousand pounds. Your clients will be from a vast array of industry sectors, from sizeable Construction firms through to well-known charities.
Accordingly, you must be au-fait with a wide variety of commercial covers such as Property, Liability, Commercial Combined, PI and D&O. Whilst by no means essential, knowledge of the nuances of Charity Trustee Indemnity insurance would add weight to your application. However, this can of course be taught to you by in house specialists.
You must be well organised, with a keen eye for detail. You will also be a team player, and have well-honed negotiation skills and a commitment to offering the highest levels of client service. You should also share this office’s ‘easy going, but professional’ approach.
Progress made towards professional qualifications would be advantageous, although this is certainly not a prerequisite.
