We are delighted to be assisting a prestigious, national mortgage brokerage with the addition of 3 Mortgage & Protection Advisers within its Colchester office.
Due to its reputation for providing an outstanding service, together with its partnerships with the largest house builders in the UK, this business is really going from strength to strength.
This is an office-based role, where you will provide suitable Mortgage and Protection products to clients all over the UK. You’ll enjoy working manageable hours, (Monday to Friday), with no very late evenings or weekend work. 4 days a week, Advisers typically tend to start work at 10am.
You’ll be pleased to know that all leads are provided, and so you won’t have to self-generate any of your own business. There are a wealth of constant enquiries to service, which will mean that you will be able to earn a substantial amount of commission.
It is essential that you are fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), and that you have some previous advising experience. Having said that, our client will consider candidates with minimal advising experience, who have the right attitude – a hard work ethic, enthusiasm, and a hunger to write good levels of compliant business. The firm will consider high calibre applicants from a range of backgrounds including estate agencies, banks, lenders or brokerages.
There are a number of remuneration models available, with basic salaries up to £30K plus commission. You can opt for a lower basic salary with a higher % commission if you like. The On Target Earnings for this role is £45K - £50K, however the commission is uncapped. You can also earn extra commission based on your compliance score (circa £2K per annum), as well as enhanced commissions for writing protection products that remain in force for over a certain period of time.
