We are delighted to be working with a talented entrepreneur who has set up a successful mortgage brokerage in the York area. As a result of their successful career in the mortgage industry, and their professional connections and introducers, they are now in the fortunate position whereby they require an additional Adviser to support the volume of business.
This independent, whole of market brokerage is part of a major network and as such, has access to a wealth of competitive lenders, including exclusive products that are simply not available on the high street.
Because of this company’s connections, there will be no great pressure for you to self-generate substantial levels of new business, but having said that, the firm is looking for someone who enjoys networking and developing some of their own clients and introducers. Your own client bank would certainly be welcomed, although this is by no means essential.
The majority of the existing clients are in the York area, and therefore, your main focus will be within this vicinity. My client will allow you a great deal of autonomy, and would be happy for you to perhaps work 2 days a week at home, and the remainder of the time within their beautiful, purpose built office in the countryside, where you will benefit from full admin support.
As you will be offering professional Mortgage and Protection advice, it is essential that you are CeMAP qualified (or equivalent), and able to hit the ground running. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working for an independent mortgage brokerage, however our client will also look at high calibre Mortgage Advisers from a bank or building society, who are looking to take the next step in their career.
You will be rewarded with a basic salary (negotiable), together with a very generous commission structure, tailored to suit your requirements.
