Our client is a leading insurer in Manchester, based in modern offices overlooking the city. Due to continued expansion, it is seeking an experienced Claims Relationship Manager.

Reporting to the Claims Director, you will work closely with the Sales & Development teams in London to deliver on joint assignments. As the Claims Relationship Manager, you will attend new business meetings to highlight the services available, how claims are investigated and paid, and also discuss bespoke arrangements. In addition, you will meet with existing clients to continually build beneficial relationships, conduct claims reviews, offer support, and take responsibility for any issues that may arise. You will also prepare and deliver presentations and training with both internal and external stakeholders. Once settled in the role, you will be tasked with the on-boarding process for new clients, drafting and updating Terms of Business Agreements, and Claims Protocol and Service Agreements. This will also include due diligence and relevant risk assessments to ensure that suppliers meet certain business criteria.
If your expertise isn’t within Construction and Engineering, it is essential that you have a strong understanding of Commercial Combined insurance. It is imperative that you have a successful track record of relationship management in an outward-facing role. This is an autonomous role, so you must be highly motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative. As this is a relatively new position within the group, you can shape and develop the role as you see fit. Due to the company’s international clientele, it would be advantageous if you could speak another European language.
