An award-winning Loss Adjusting firm has an opening for an experienced Property Loss Adjuster to cover South of London.

Working from home or from the local office, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of Property claims up to the value of £100K. You will strive to achieve agreed activity levels, with the intention of continuously reducing WIP throughout the financial year. You will determine appropriate action, in order to minimise the claim settlement time through the efficient planning, preparation and proactive handling, from pre visit through to conclusion, ensuring compliant operational delivery on time and to specification. Where appropriate, you will also negotiate settlement. In addition, you will process all invoices and approve estimates within 5 working days of agreement, and issue interim fees during the claims life cycle. With Head Office support, you will pro-actively update customers and clients, meeting pre-agreed expectations. You will embrace technology and ensure that all site notes and associated documents are loaded on to the claims database, assisting in maintaining accurate MI through the completion of required spreadsheets.
It is essential that you have previous experience of handling Property losses in an external adjusting capacity. In addition, progress made towards either the ACII or ACILA qualification would be preferable, although this is not a prerequisite. Importantly, you must be an excellent communicator and an effective negotiator, with high levels of self-motivation and the ability to manage your own busy diary. As an ambassador for the company, you must also be well-presented and punctual.
You will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary of up to £40K dependent on experience, plus a company car and comprehensive benefits package. You will also receive funding towards professional qualifications.
