If so, Aston Charles is representing a well-respected regional broker that is looking to appoint a Senior Personal Lines Account Handler to lead a small team of four.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Private Car and Household insurance accounts throughout the policy period. The focus is predominantly on customer service and retaining existing clients, and whilst there will be an element of new business (obtained from referrals and cross-selling), there are no specific targets in place. Also, you will help ensure that the other team members are getting through their workloads and have all the support, training, mentoring, that they need to be successful. Finally, the business has some High Net Worth clients, so you will get the opportunity to deal with this type of clientele more frequently as they look to grow in this area.
To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that you have experience in handling personal lines products, in particular Private Car and Household insurance. Any experience in dealing with High Net Worth clients would be a distinct advantage, although not essential. You will be a proactive individual, and whilst the atmosphere is relaxed you will be expected to give 100% to keep your clients happy. You will have the personality and desire to be recognised a senior individual within your team, and a natural leader to support the less experienced staff.
In return, you will be compensated with a great salary/ package. As mentioned, the office environment is a more traditional one. There isn’t any huge pressure to achieve targets, and they are more interested in ensuring that the existing clients remain happy. This in turn creates a relaxed environment, in which not very many people leave. Indeed, this role is due to a retirement of 30 years.
