You will take ownership of the sales process from cradle to grave; dealing with insurance companies at Chief Exec’ level, working on deals that will likely result in multimillion pound income individually. You will be tasked with signing prospects to a global licencing agreement for the Risk Engine (utilising both our client’s in-house data, and if desired, the insurer’s own information) and ancillary suite of projects.
Already trading with some of the biggest names in the insurance industry, your job will to be formalise relationships with an existing pipeline of established, cleansed and ‘warm’ prospects. You will then be tasked to seek further companies (insurers, MGA’s, etc) to partner with.
It is essential that you have a detailed understanding of the insurance industry, underwriting processes, and the information insurance professionals must consider to rate risks profitably. You must also be exceptionally well-connected in the insurance industry, and confident in your ability to get ‘air time’ with the board of insurers, both domestic and international. You should have a strong degree of market awareness and knowledge of new carriers entering the industry that may not yet be in our client’s pipeline.
Pitching to insurance organisations at the highest level, you must be highly polished, with excellent communication skills. You will also have the gravitas and confidence to articulate your enthusiasm for this new, unique product and ultimately, how it can positively impact the loss ratios.
In return, you will receive a highly competitive basic salary (anticipated to be circa £50K - £70K, but completely negotiable) and a very generous bonus that will realistically double your basic salary for hitting target, with scope for further earnings for high achievers.
