You will be providing mortgage and protection advice to customers who have made enquiries via the company's website. As such, you'll be pleased to know that all leads are provided and there is no need to cold call. The majority of your work will be conducted over the telephone and therefore you must possess a professional telephone manner and strong rapport building skills. The firm is directly authorised with the FCA and therefore you will have access to a vast amount of lenders and insurers.
In addition to a competitive basic salary, you will earn bonus on everything that you bank. There are plenty of Advisers in the firm earning over £60K and the sky really is the limit as bonuses are uncapped.
It is essential that you have at least 18 months' mortgage broking experience working the whole of market, or a large panel. As expected, you must also be CeMAP qualified (or equivalent). It is not a requirement that you have previously sold Protection, although you must be willing to do so in this role where full training will be provided.
It is essential that you can multi-task in a fast-paced environment and that you are comfortable with learning new IT applications. Just as importantly, you must be hungry to write business and earn substantial bonus.
