Aston Charles has been retained by a Surveying company that has an additional requirement for Building Surveyors to cover London.
This firm is a specialist surveying firm with a team of industry experts working within the property repair and insurance market on a national basis.
You will be responsible for the management of a key account, conducting surveys for a portfolio of properties where there are elements of disrepair or insulation issues. As you will have a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to spot risks and hazards, you will assess the damage efficiently and use technology to conduct surveys and complete reports for clients. You will cover the London area, managing your own diary and appointments. You can expect to be on-site for 45 mins - 60mins, with a 30min follow up for report writing, so multiple visits can be carried out per day.
To be considered, you will have experience of conducting property surveys, and although not essential, knowledge of housing disrepair would be advantageous. As this is a client-facing role, you will be an effective communicator with the ability to display empathy. It is also a requirement of the role that you hold a full UK driving license.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is already self-employed and looking to increase their workload, or someone who is seeking a new partnership for full time surveying work. You will be paid a flat fee per job within your designated geographical area.
