Our client, a highly reputable Boutique Wealth Management firm, is looking to develop its Support Team with the appointment of a technically astute and experienced Administrator in the South Manchester area.

Our client has grown rapidly and has continued to go from strength to strength, having recently moved to new offices. It provides independent financial advice to a wide range of private and corporate clients, giving specialist advice in the areas of Retirement Planning, Inheritance Tax Planning and Investment Management.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Planners, providing an interface between the Client, Consultant and other parties to the transaction. You will ensure that all financial planning client administration is carried out in accordance with company procedures. The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Produce appropriate written correspondence to providers and clients.
• Liaise with product providers to gain specific information including policy valuations and illustrations.
• Maintain client information accurately on all financial planning software, maintaining client and company files in a well presented, accurate and compliant manner.
• Liaise with clients, Financial Planners and Paraplanners involved in transactions as required.
• Research and analyse data for Financial Planners and Paraplanners.
• Establish good working relationships with colleagues and clients and provides a level of service that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Keep technically up to date with changes in the relevant legislation.
• Adhere to risk management policies – compliance & complaint handling.
• Online submissions of life, pension and investment products.
• Process investment sales/ purchases ensuring the database and clients are kept up to date and seeing transactions through to completion.
• Preparing data/ figures for production meetings.

It is essential that you have previous experience of a similar position, including exposure to IRESS or Intelligent Office software, as well as having a thorough understanding of the financial planning process.
