This specialist, Corporate Liability legal firm continues to expand its client portfolio and as such, is seeking an experienced Motor Claims Handler.
You will be working within the fast-growing Motor Credit Hire Team, where you will pursue the investigation of third party claims. You will create an initial case strategy and review all available information, undertaking discussions and negotiations with insureds, insurers and third-party solicitors, in order to pursue rapid and appropriate settlements. You will also capture third-party hire and repair data and instruct your own repair, hire provision and supporting investigation partners if required. In addition, you will ensure timely and accurate maintenance of all case management, billing and MI systems, to ensure completeness of records and aid business decision making. This is a ‘hands on’ and fast-paced environment, where you will be encouraged to speak with clients via the telephone to progress each file efficiently.
In order for your application to be successful, you will need a solid understanding of the legal and technical issues surrounding Credit Hire files. Whilst defendant experience is preferred, those from a claimant background that are proficient in positioning cases from a defendant perspective, are also welcomed. In addition, you will be a strong negotiator, where you will not be afraid to pick up the phone to speak with relevant parties.
