As part of its ongoing strategic growth plans, our client, a prestigious and award-winning Financial Services organisation in the North of England, requires an experienced senior sales leader to manage the financial planning function in a Sales & Marketing Director capacity.
Founded several years ago by its incumbent shareholding Directors, the business has established an enviable reputation for client service, having developed a comprehensive range of financial services solutions for its substantial base of high net worth corporate and private clients. Following a full scale strategic review of the business, the Directors have identified a key requirement for an experienced and proven sales leader to bring additional expertise to the Board.
Working closely with the Managing Director, you will have significant input into the development and execution of the business strategy, leading and managing the overall financial planning function. You will design and implement a detailed sales and marketing plan, ultimately delivering agreed growth objectives. As well as motivating a large team of IFA’s across multiple sites to achieve challenging business objectives, you will also develop and manage a Marketing Team to deliver effective client relationship management and generate new business opportunities. Being responsible for numerous direct and indirect reports, you will develop and coach individuals, helping to realise their full potential. From a regulatory perspective, you will ensure that all business and sales activity is fully compliant with FCA regulations, as well as promoting and embedding a TCF culture across the business.
Given the level of responsibility in this role, sitting on the Board of a multi-million pound turnover business, it is absolutely essential that you have extensive experience and a proven track record in senior sales management. You must be able to evidence sustained success in coaching and developing teams in order to deliver maximum output and sales results. Having previously designed and implemented strategic sales and marketing plans, you will be adept in analysing market and competitor trends to identify new business opportunities. A consistent compliance record, along with strong commercial acumen and a high level of commitment and drive are considered a prerequisite.
