Our client is a hugely successful mortgage and protection broking firm that has grown from 3 to 60 staff within the last 5 years.
The business is part of one of the largest property groups in the UK and as such, you can expect an impressive infrastructure, enormous buying power, and market-leading training and development.
With traditional values based on long-term relationships and a first-class client service, it is easy to see why this business is going from strength to strength.
As a result of consistent growth, a need has arisen for a dedicated Protection Trainer / Business Development Manager to develop and upskill the existing Mortgage and Protection Advisors within the business.
Working with a team of Protection Advisers based in various offices within the M25, you will use your technical skills and sales knowledge to coach individuals to realise their full potential. This will include observing Advisors and tweaking their pitches in order to improve penetration rates. You will also help to up-skill Mortgage Advisors who need further training on specialist Protection products. In addition, you will assist with promoting the company at seminars and to further prospective clients.
In order to gain credibility with the Advisers and clients, it is essential that you have experience of successfully selling Protection products. Just as importantly, you must have experience within sales management or training, as well as relationship management and business development. Our client will consider candidates from a broking or product provider background.
There will be extensive mileage within this role and you must be comfortable with regular traveling on the M25 and throughout the Home Counties.
You will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary of circa £40K, plus company car / car allowance and bonus. Given the ongoing growth of this company, the sky really is the limit in terms of your career development.
