This wholly independent and long-established company has a very strong reputation in the North West business community and an impressive client following. Focused on customer service, the business continues to attract a wealth of referral business and enjoys an impressive client retention rate. The company very much prides itself on building long-lasting relationships with its clients, and will not entertain the ‘hard-sell’ methodology. This ‘sensible and considered’ approach has resulted in an extremely low staff turnover and a very friendly and collaborative working environment.
Working alongside Account Executives and Directors, you will provide day to day administrative support, which will include conducting extensive marketing exercises, negotiating and securing renewals, processing policy endorsements, and handing general client enquiries. You will enjoy handling a variety of commercial risks including Property, Liability, Motor Fleet and Financial Lines, across a diverse range of trades and industries. Being an independent broker, you will be granted a high level of autonomy in relation to where you place business, and you will have the opportunity to attend some client visits in order strengthen key relationships.
Ideally, you will have previous experience within commercial insurance broking, although my client will consider ambitious candidates from other areas such as underwriting, claims or personal lines broking.
Importantly, the company is seeking a career-minded professional who would like to progress towards becoming an Account Executive, whilst studying for the Advanced Diploma (ACII) qualification.
You must be well organised, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce accurate work, whilst working under pressure.
