Based out of its office in Lancashire, our client, who operates in a niche mortgage field, has, over the last 10 years, successfully arranged billions of pounds of mortgages. They have built up this operation by successfully approaching the industry with a sales-orientated but customer driven mindset, hiring staff who have genuine belief in themselves and who don’t get deflated at the 1st or 2nd hurdle.
The company, having specialised in its market place for over 10 years, has a large database of existing clients, many referrals, and a constant delivery of new leads every day. Although providing all initial leads, our client would expect a mortgage consultant to produce ‘self-generated leads’ (e.g. referrals from a lead client that was provided) to equate to approximately 15% of their annual business.
Our client is therefore looking for a candidate who would want to cross sell, understands the psychology of sales, and has a proven track record of writing volume, new Mortgage business. Moreover, someone who has personality which comes across on the phone quickly and who understands that ‘people buy from people.’
Our client would be looking to take on a Mortgage Broker on an Employed basis, with a circa £24K basic salary and - provided you put in the hard work and real commitment - a provable OTE from a standing start of £60K+ in the 1st year.
