A multi-site insurance broker that thrives in its areas of specialism is looking to identify an individual to lead its Motor Trade offering in Leeds.
This business looks to continue to expand its market share through a dynamic sales force, driving new business, supported by an outstanding client service to retain existing customers. It has an ambitious business plan for 2018, for which this appointment will play a key part.
You will lead a team of salespeople dealing with an array of Motor Trade policies such as Service, Repair and MOT garages, Vehicle Body Builders and Commercial Vehicle Repairers. Your duties will include, but not limited to:
• Ensuring the team is on target through coaching and feedback.
• Leading by example in terms of proactively targeting new clients.
• Reviewing and managing your, and your team’s workload.
• Distributing new leads and renewals fairly across the team.
• Reviewing team performance and holding 1-2-1’s and coaching sessions.
It is essential that you have a good working knowledge of Motor Trade risks and the market in general - you could either currently be a Motor Trade specialist, or this could be part of your wider role. You’ll be a motivator; someone that can inspire a team of Handlers to exceed their targets, whilst creating a competitive, yet friendly environment. My client is open to individuals that haven’t previously been a Manager, but possess all the characteristics of one, and have had some mentoring experience.
