Our client, a highly reputable Boutique Wealth Management firm, is seeking a capable Financial Planner following the retirement of a Director.
Established for nearly 30 years, our client has grown steadily and has continued to go from strength to strength, having recently moved to new offices. It provides independent financial advice and discretionary fund management to a wide range of private and corporate clients, giving specialist advice in the areas of Personal Injury Trusts, Court of Protection, Retirement Planning, Inheritance Tax Planning, Care Fee Planning and Protection, as well as Investment Management.
Following the retirement of a Director/ IFA, it requires a capable and career-minded IFA to inherit a client bank. Being chiefly responsible for retaining clients and funds under management, as well as growing FUM, you will effectively manage client relationships in order to generate additional business opportunities. There are no personal targets in this role, rather having an overall team target, focussed on bringing in additional client funds.
As well as being Diploma qualified, specialists qualifications in investment management and/ or pension transfers, would add significant weight to your application. Although cliché, our client cannot emphasise enough the need for a true client-centric adviser, rather than a ‘sales person’. Technical knowledge, a strong work ethic and drive and determination are all considered prerequisite.
In return, you will firstly benefit from inheriting an active, fee paying client base. You will also enjoy an attractive base salary, as well as a very attractive employer pension contribution, and additional bonus earnings. A key long-term selling point of this role is the opportunity to take share ownership, as well as the potential for being involved in the running of the business/ taking over control of the business from the incumbent management team.
