This is a great opportunity for a Livestock & Equine Claims Handler to join a highly regarded insurance organisation in North Yorkshire. Our client has a well-deserved reputation for being a major player within its specialist sector and enjoys a strong national presence.
You will be responsible for handling a caseload biased towards Livestock, Equine and Farming losses. This role will enable you to take full ownership of the claim from initial notification through to final settlement, providing a high level of customer service to your clients. You will refer all files that fall outside of your personal authority limit to a senior member of the team. In addition, you will ensure that all systems and records are kept up to date with accurate information.
It is essential that you have previous experience within this niche market, dealing with losses from notification to final conclusion. Importantly, you will be adept at policy interpretation, with an advanced knowledge of the application of the principles of insurance.
