You will be managing your own portfolio of Motor files, including Personal Injury through to final conclusion. Carrying out desktop investigations, where appropriate, you will assess indemnity, obtain quantum and liability information. Also, following medical evidence and advice, you will negotiate settlement of injury costs in order to bring the losses to a satisfactory settlement. In addition, you will maintain accurate records and keep systems updated with estimates, reserves and progress reports on each file. You must be able to effectively manage your workload and ensure systems, policyholders, solicitors, loss adjusters and third parties are kept up to date with accurate information throughout the lifecycle of each loss.
It is imperative that you have had exposure to dealing with Motor claims from FNOL through to final settlement, including Personal Injury. Most importantly, you must be an excellent communicator and an effective negotiator, with the highest levels of self-motivation.
