Our client is a leading insurance broker that is looking to invest in a Trainee Account Development Executive in Leeds city centre.
In this role, you will help to target and develop new relationship with prospective clients under the stewardship of the Branch Director; a seasoned insurance professional with a fine reputation in the market. Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
• Driving new business initiatives to deliver to group budget and revenue targets.
• Generating new customer contacts and clients, whilst operating in accordance with FCA compliance and company processes.
• Ensuring the smooth and thorough handover of clients to broking teams, post-acquisition.
• Creating new business leads through research, referrals, prospecting and networking.
This is a high-profile role within the business, and therefore you’ll receive the training and development required to ensure your ongoing success, which will include insurance exams and technical training.
It is essential that you have a background in negotiation and proven sales performance, as well as an understanding of the markets within the commercial insurance sector. You will be self-motivated to succeed, and be able to provide examples of key achievements throughout your career history.
