Our client is an expanding independent broker in Manchester that is looking to appoint an Account Executive to take over a small account, which is to be grown via new business acquisition.
You will be tasked with:
• Securing new commercial insurance business to increase the value of the inherited book, which currently stands at circa £30K income.
• Managing your clients throughout the year, which will include handling your own accounts (with the exception of Fleet), so that you provide a full 360 service to them.
• Visiting clients, ensuring a first-class service is provided.
• Working closely with insurers and facilities to ensure the most relevant and competitive terms are provided.

It is required that you have experience within commercial insurance, and that you are technically au fait with most product lines. You must also be able to demonstrate the ability to generate new business. Although you will have the support of a Telesales Team, this is a relatively new department, so you will need to be proactive in your development of business. To be successful in this role, you must be hard working, professional and compliant, with a genuine passion for looking after the best interests of your clients.
In return, you will receive a package based on your previous experience and business projections, along with a company car. You will also receive a very attractive bonus where you will earn 25% of all income over a pre-agreed threshold.
