This is a superb opportunity for a Mortgage Adviser / Trainee Mortgage Advisor to work for a busy and hugely successful mortgage brokerage based in the Newcastle area.
This well-established company is extremely well-connected with a wide range of introducers and as such, has a vast amount of clients.
Dealing with both inbound and outbound enquires, you will be responsible for handling remortgages, which will involve speaking to existing customers whose mortgage deals are due to come an end, and sourcing them a new product. You will also be responsible for rebroking clients’ Protection cover.
As you will be dealing with existing customers, and saving them money, this is one of the easiest and most appealing jobs within the mortgage industry!
As supervision and full comprehensive training will be provided, our client will consider candidates with only the CeMAP 1 qualification, although the full CeMAP would of course be beneficial. If you are only CeMAP 1 qualified, our client will provide you with support to complete the full qualification. It is essential that you have first-class customer service skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with customers.
You will be rewarded with a salary of up to £18K, with very realistic on target earnings of £35K - £40K, where bonuses are paid monthly. The MD of the firm advises that “there is so much business here, that Advisers should easily achieve their OTE.”
Whilst the core hours are 9am til 5pm, you will be required to work later shifts (typically 2 days a week), which could be either 10am – 6pm or 11am til 7pm. You may also be required to work the occasional weekend day – probably one in 4.
