Working out of its estate agency partner branch in Martlesham, you will service the mortgage and protection requirements of a wide range of clientele. You’ll benefit from working in a branch that enjoys a strong footfall. For example, the branch is based practically next door to a major corporate organisation employing circa 2,000 people, most of whom regularly see this mortgage brokerage’s adverts on their way to and from work. This busy estate agency has an impressive property list, with many houses in the £500K to £600K price range, which will of course attract some very healthy procuration fees and life insurance commissions.
Our client has also just been appointed as one of the main mortgage brokerages to a local new build site with circa 150 new flats. As such, you will take a share of the enquiries that are generated off the back of this contract.
It is essential that you are fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent). However, whilst previous experience of mortgage advising would be preferred, this is certainly not essential as our client has a successful track record of training newly CeMAP qualified entrants to the industry.
Importantly, you must be hungry to write business and possess strong relationship building skills. Whilst there are a lot of business opportunities available, you must be proactive in your approach to securing business, with a keen eye for spotting cross-sales opportunities for Protection and General Insurance.
Our client has a comprehensive offering including an in-house compliance function. Generous splits are also available, (tiered depending on levels of business written), with the opportunity to earn up to 90% of the commission.
