Aston Charles has been retained by this leading independent broker to assist in the appointment of a Commercial Claims Handler.
This intermediary is well respected by both its clients and competing brokers for the technical strength of its claims team and its ability to achieve best possible settlement terms on behalf of its clients.

As such, this role is key to our client delivering the unrivalled levels of customer service it has built its proud reputation on over many years.
This is a new role within the company and you will inherit a mixed portfolio of clients, so it is essential you have well rounded knowledge of a number of sectors of industry, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Construction and Haulage. You will take ownership of all claims arising within this portfolio, and keep clients updated on progress from intimation through to final settlement.
Strong account management and relationship building skills are a ‘must’ in order to form a professional rapport and negotiate with insurers, clients and third parties. As well as dealing with clients over the telephone and via email, you will also get the opportunity to accompany Account Executives, Risk Managers and Loss Adjusters on site visits.
