Due to the continued acquisition of quality accounts, Aston Charles has been retained to assist in the appointment of a Corporate Account Handler. This broker believes that its excellent client service stems from the close, long-term relationships its staff forges with key clients. Working within a dedicated broking team, you will help looking after a portfolio of circa £500K income, including some of the businesses most prestigious clients. In order to be able to fully understand your clients requirements and advise on the best cover, you will be actively encouraged to develop a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses.
You will be responsible for dealing with accounts generating commission and fee income of £10K and above, with clients being from a range of industry sectors such as Property Owners, Manufacturing, Transportation and Education/ School Academies. As well as being responsible for the day to day management of your accounts, you will work in close conjunction with an Account Executive and Director in all areas of client servicing, such as preparing renewal reports, undertaking site visits and presenting risks to the market.
It is essential that you are a team player who enjoys working to shares goals and objectives, and that you are comfortable ‘going the extra mile’ for your clients. As you would expect, it is essential that you have extensive experience of commercial insurance, including dealing with ‘bigger ticket’ corporate accounts. Our client is particularly interested in hearing from those individuals who are ACII qualified, or have made some progress towards qualifications under the Chartered Insurance Institute.
