Here, each month you will be allocated a varied renewal list and it will be your job to do a thorough fact-find to establish any changes to your clients’ businesses so you are best placed to offer a comprehensive cover at a competitive premium. You will also help administer any mid-term amendments arising with the existing client portfolio, and help to place any new business cases won by colleagues.

This broker transacts business with clients from all industry sectors, so as you may deal with a Contractor on one call, and then perhaps a Solicitor or wealthy Property Owner the next, it is essential that you can build rapport with people from all walks of life. You must also have some commercial insurance experience, gained in either an underwriting or broking capacity.
