Recognising that no two businesses are the same, this Chartered broking house spurns the ‘one size fits all’ approach and instead focuses on developing bespoke insurance programmes, each designed to mitigate the specific risks faced by individual companies.

This client-centric approach clearly works, and over many years it has established itself as Liverpool’s preeminent brokerage. It now represents the interests of some of the North’s largest companies and most well-known personalities.

Working within the Corporate Division, you will act as a trusted adviser to clients from a wide range of industry sectors, both blue and white collar. Largely working in an office-based capacity, you will work in close conjunction with Corporate Account Executives and Directors.

You will be responsible for assisting in the management of clients’ insurance programmes. This will include conducting thorough fact finds to develop a deep understanding of clients’ businesses in order to obtain suitable cover. You will also be responsible for preparing renewal reports, administering mid-term amendments and negotiating with insurers to secure the most competitive premiums. Whilst this is by no means a business development role, you may be asked to help with the marketing and placement of new business cases won by colleagues.

It is essential that you have a strong background in commercial insurance, gained in a broking environment. It is also a prerequisite that you have dealt with some complex corporate cases, as opposed to lower premium SME accounts. Whilst by no means essential, it is anticipated that you have made significant progress with professional qualifications under the CII.

In order to remain complaint and ensure documentation is issued accurately and in a timely fashion, you must be well-organised, meticulous in your approach and have a keen eye for detail. You must also be highly professional, with excellent communication skills and confidence in your ability to build rapport with senior personnel at very large businesses.

In return, you can expect a highly competitive (and completely negotiable) basic salary, an impressive range of comprehensive benefits, and support towards professional qualifications.
