Having traded successfully for over a decade, this firm generates a great deal of business from a number of streams including its enormous existing client bank, referrals, repeat business, professional introducers and estate agency relationships. It is no wonder why some of the top Advisers in this company are banking in excess of £350,000 per annum in mortgage and protection business.
As a result of increased business levels, a need has arisen for an experienced Mortgage Advisor to service the surplus enquiries. It is therefore not a requirement that you bring your own clients as there are more than enough to go around.
Working within an extremely slick environment, you will benefit from comprehensive admin support, which means that suitability letters and the chasing of stakeholders will be done for you while you focus on writing volume business.
Being a traditional, boutique business, the company is able to pay a remuneration package and commission structure to rival the corporates. As an example, in year one, if you were to write 10 mortgages a month, your on target personal earnings would be £70K+. As such, it is entirely feasible that in forthcoming years, with repeat business and remortgage customers, you could be earning well over £100K.
You will be writing compliant mortgage business, both face to face and over the telephone, and you must be comfortable traveling to an estate agency partner’s office in Grays, when required. For this reason, you must have a full driving license.
It is essential that you are CeMAP qualified (or equivalent) with a strong sales and compliance track record. Just as importantly, you’ll have well-honed relationship building skills and be a strong team player.

It is envisaged that this role will be salaried, with a basic in the region of £30K, although this is negotiable for outstanding candidates. However, my client is prepared to take on Advisers wanting a self-employed contract, who are hungry to write volume business and work ‘full-time’ hours. This role has scope to be either home or office-based. Official office hours are 8.30am til 5.30pm.
