A highly successful Mortgage and Protection brokerage seeks a talented, passionate Mortgage Broker / Adviser to join one of its offices in Par/Looe.
With over 15 years of trading, the Director of this firm has built up a large client base and they now require an experienced Mortgage Advisor to join and share the workload - in their words they are “busier than they ever expected”. The firm has built a strong reputation based on a premier service, with all of their business coming through recommendations.
Working principally locally with clients based in the Cornwall area, but also with clients nationwide, you will - through time and effort – ensure you really understand your clients’ requirements and can advise upon the best mortgage and protection products in order to suit their own, individual needs.
You will benefit not only from all leads provided but also enjoy admin support. This means you will be able to focus on what you do best; giving advice! You will also be able to enjoy a work-life balance, with hours built around a 5-day week, typically 9 - 5.30pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday work only done when needed and time given off in the week.
Given you will be advising on Mortgages and Protection, it is a requirement that you have gained your CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification and thus are able to work from the ‘get-go’.
You will have at least a year’s advising experience, preferably working for an independent mortgage brokerage although strong advisors from a restricted background will be considered.
This is an employed role with a basic salary of up to £25K (although this is negotiable for the right candidate) and a realistic OTE of £40K+ in the first year; current advisors on the team are enjoying earnings of over £70K! Self-employed positions with a lucrative set up are also open to negotiation.
